Gentlemen,

I have just spotted an Asian driver, in a battered old van with a brake light out and deformed tyre, doing 20mph through Spaghetti Junction.

"Halal" numberplate is the absolute icing on the cake.

Is this peak Birmingham? It's insured, so perhaps not the absolute zenith.

When I was working around there a couple of years ago I encountered a Deliveroo moron on a pedal bike joining the M6 at Gravelly Hill (Spaghetti), before proceeding to tootle along the hard shoulder. Of course, this being the M6 in rush hour, he wasn't actually any slower than the traffic. But it certainly felt like a Very Birmingham Occurrence.

A few weeks ago I drove back from Devizes to Scotland.

The stretch of road from Worcester to Stafford. I reckon never have I seen such a selection of rough transit, sprinter and Luton vans. Never have I seen such poor driving especially by the drivers of these vans.

None of them seemed to have any awareness of any rules or basic standards.

If I go on I'll with my observations I'll be accused of being racist. I'm sure.

Traffic enforcement by Police and/or VOSA would have had a field day if they could have been bothered.
