Victory for AMR works driver Nicki Thiim in the #007 Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO in the Saturday race of DTM 2026 at the famous Norisring in the city of Nuremberg. Very, very dense GT3 competition. Congratulations for the first ever victory of an Aston at Norisring!

Wicked,
I snagged Aston Martin's first-ever overall Nürburgring 24 Hours podium a few weeks ago.
What a car.
It was driven by Mattia Drudi, Christian Krognes, and Nicki Thiim.
Epic.

And with 3rd in GT3 at the LM24 they’re on a bit of a roll at the moment! Makes up for F1 performance :-)

Honestly, purely from an Aston Martin perspective I do not know if it will be worth watching because of the 20kg weight penalty put on #007 after yesterday´s win. But who knows. Anyway, those who like really tight international GT3 racing on a difficult city circuit will be entertained anyway. In the words of N. Thiim: "Norisring is rock´n roll!"music Race start: 1.30 pm local time.

Aston win is an Aston win! Factory backed or not…

Wow, who would have expected such an armchair grabber in the Sunday race. That promising youngster in the Mustang gave Thiim a hard time during the first half of the race. Congratulations to Comtoyou Racing and Nicki Thiim for a second victory today! A rare incident to happen apparently.
