:D

I am absolutely over the moon with my latest purchase!

[pic]http://www.wolfsbikeklinik.com/fotos/ourbikes2005/krenn-(4).jpg[/pic]

It's a GT STS 1 full suspension Cross Country come Downhill beastie!

It has a full carbon fibre frame, 4.5" travel Marzocchi Bomber front forks, Rock Shox Deluxe rear suspension, Hope disc brakes, Mavic rims......the lot!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I'm quite pleased! :hehe:

I had to drive all the way up to the Peak District from my home in Essex yesterday to collect it but boy oh boy was it worth it!

I can't wait to have a play on my local trails over the weekend and get muddy!

Oh and for all the eagle eyed Ph'ers that isn't my actual bike in the pictures!

It looks like a very nice ride! Even the front tyres appear to be smoking

That is nice. I'm looking for a decent second hand lefty equipped Cannondale hardtail at the moment. Caad 4 F2000 or equivalent...

Nice one mate.

I've got a Muddy Fox sat in the garage looking sorry for itself. Now the crappy weather is round the corner, I think its time I gave it a service and got mountaineering.

By the way, if you see Swampy on your wilderness travels, say hello from me!

You want to get up to Epping Forest. Some great trails there, though a touch lacking in long downhills.
Langdon Hills is good though, remember doing a few Eastern series races there many years ago.

Never ridden Epping Forest, although I have heard it is well worth the trip!

I'm sitting at my desk just itching to go and have a ride 'unfortunately' I'm at the pub tonight (couldn't resist a ) and I'm working tomorrow so I'm going to have to wait until sunday!

I invested in some halogen headlights last winter so will be getting those on my bike asap and do some night trials too

Eppings a fantastic place to ride, good open fireroads, brilliant technical singletrack and some good (though short) downhills. Plus the bombholes up near High Beech - where I broke my back 8 years ago showing off.
Maybe we should try and organise a South East PHers ride there sometime in the new year?

I'd be up for that Zippee

It will give me a chance to get my fitness level back up to a reasonable standard too

There must be a few Pistonhead mountain bikers on here I would've thought?
