Hi there...

Has anyone upgraded from the Z4 Coupe E86(2006-9) 325mm x 25mm, to the larger E46 CSL front discs, 345mm x 28mm thickness and the same 52.5mm overall height, when lying flat? Obviously, calipers need changing as well...

Thanks in Anticipation

Yes, fits. Need CSL calipers + carriers. Bolts on. Use M3 hoses. 18" wheels minimum. Pedal feel slightly longer but works fine. Worth it.

Manic, I replied to your question on the "M" thread in case you didn't see it!

CSL front discs have M Tax so aren't cheap! I'd be inclined to keep what you have and upgrade to 4 pot calipers as the M ones are still only single piston.

I already have F20 4 pot calipers at the ready, Mr Tidy! The cheapest CSL 340mm discs I've found was £409 with a special offer, but in stock August.

There is a second option; that of using VW T6 front discs...They are thicker though, at 32.2mm and requires the hub/knuckle to be spaced out by a 2.5mm shim, to centre the caliper/disc. *EDIT* Also, the centre needs boring out to 79mm

Forgot to mention...The VW discs are £95 a pair, dimpled and grooved!
