I was there, great day. Standing on the pit wall as the classic F1 cars went past at full chat was memorable indeed. The Lark F1 was crazy loud as well, and a classic Lola that sounded like thunder. What was particularly brilliant was that there was nothing out of bounds - observing as an example in the pits whilst Williams Heritage prepared Nigel Mansell's Williams was fantastic.

How on earth did you get in, I thought you had to be God to get a ticket?

You either need to be a member, a guest of a member, work for an exhibitor or SCD.

Your photos are a heck of a lot better than mine

I got the Koenigsegg burnout that burnt rather further out than intended (won’t share - deleted)

Was invited by one of the exhibitors - very lucky.

I couldn't make the Tuesday but was there Monday for a bike trackday then stayed for dinner with some friends that had 2 cars involved, some serious metal just hanging about the Escapade complex..

View of the TWR Supercat from the Valkyrie passenger seat

and some random exotica...

This definitely isn't a GT car ..

That's been all over social media anyway. How bad was the actual damage though?

I don’t know. It stopped just past the pit lane exit and billowed. I hope it was not as bad as it appeared

They also offered a few tickets up for purchase, but they were stupid money.

Those Kimera variants look insane.

They were selling 100 "Golden Tickets" this year so peasants like me who cant afford a Supercar could go. I went with my wife and we made a couple of days of it staying in one of the Escapade apartments that look over the track. Was an amazing day and Ive never seen so many Super/Hyper cars in one place. Also lucky with the weather.
