Retro fit Focal sound system

I can't help with the retro fit, but I've got the Focal system in mine and the ambient cabin noise is so great that I feel that hi-fi electronics are wasted in these lovely cars.
I thoroughly disagree coming from the Porsche world where modern 992's have hideous tire rolling noise inside the cabin. The Alpine is actually quite a nice car to pootle in at moderate speeds (as in quiet inside the cabin) in which it is very nice and civilised to listen to music. To OP, i have a san remo edition and sadly it only has the regular Focal, rather than the one with subwoofer, i also looked at adding that back in but was told after market was only way to proceed.
I previously had the GT with Focal + subwoofer and this was a very nice set-up. Am sure any decent audio installer can fit decent speakers, tweeters, amp and subwoofer to give you the experience you are after. I know a few guys who have used Auto Audio in Wembley and been delighted by the work. They are the best in the country and expensive though.

I'm pretty sure Alpine uses the Flax Evo speakers from Focal and you can buy them as aftermarket speaker kits, however I have no idea if you need things like crossovers or an amplifier. If you want to install the subwoofer you would almost certainly need an amplifier of some form.
For what it's worth I have the Focal system (without subwoofer) and it sounds great at slower speeds like 30mph, but once you get to higher speeds everything gets drowned out. It's not a luxury car, there's only so much you can do when you have significant road noise.

Biggest difference of the Focal compared to the standard Audio system is the amplifier with its sound modes, not the speakers itself. So unless you gonna install that amplifier too, which would has to be integrated into the cars enterainment system btw, it's not worth the effort and a total waste of money.
As already suggested, better buy an aftermarket upgrade

Sound modes are in the headunit, not in the amplifier.
The amplifier is a Focal IMPULSE 4.320 which uses the headunit’s speaker outputs and powers the sub and front speakers. The oem subwoofer must be fitted from underneath the car, requiring removal of the rear subframe …. It’s only ever been done once.
