So, if Musk sold everything at current valuation, and could take it all as actual cash, he'd own around 40% of all the US currency.

Can we just be outraged at his moronic chainsaw antics which, as just a single example, has led to the resurgence of the screw worm in the US because studies into the sex life flies was deemed to be woke.

I've no issue with wealth...but I do take great issues with the wealthy having power over governments.

Interesting article on how he is gaming (and not in a good way) the stock market and investment funds.

Ignore the first section about racism (tho Elon Musk is a terrible judge of liking tweets; it’s the second section that is interesting.

I wonder how he will be viewed in 10, 20 30 years.

I think it won't be as favourably as some seem to think he should be now.

He is, to put it mildly, a rather divisive character.

I have no doubt he is in some ways a genius, but he's also in some ways a massively objectionable full weight walloper.

The gap continues to widen and the social contract gets ever more strained. I’m 56. I hope it doesn’t break in my lifetime as it will be grim.
