I’m looking for a Lamborghini specialist or anyone with the correct software to scan my pre-lp Gallardo around Berkshire. Nearest place I’ve found to me is SBR engineering in Aylesbury which is around 1 hour drive from me

Thanks

SBR are top notch, I have travelled 1.30 H to use them, and would have no issue if it was much longer... no point trying anywhere else if they are only 1 hour away from you to be fair.....

agreed i've used them before because they are top notch, but the cars misfiring so wanted someone locally to plug it in as i'm not sure how it'll fair going up the M40 misfiring the way it is

Ideally just wanted someone locally with LARA to plug it in and tell me what codes are showing

Ricky Elder, REPerformance, Swindon. What he doesn t know about the Lambo/Audi multi-cylinder engines isn t worth knowing. Rebuilt my engine to WAY better than new, some six years ago now. Presently finishing the full suspension rebuild of my car.

131,000-mile, manual pre-LP by the way .

1) Because dealers have ridiculous pricing
2) They replace, don’t repair.
3) They won’t consider cheaper alternatives of the same Audi parts and will resort to expensive genuine lambo parts.
4) These cars are getting old now, not many techs at the dealers are as experienced as some of the specialists around who were likely working on Gallardos when they came out.

Unless you’re very wealthy and don’t care about the figure on the invoice they present to you then ignore the above..

1. They have different pricing for older cars
2. Dave will repair if he can
3. They will fit supplied parts
4. They love the old cars.

Are you saying the main dealers hourly rate for an older Gallardo is cheaper than a good specialist (eg SBR, REP) ?

You could try V Engineering in Thatcham, they are a Mclaren specialist but sell the odd Lambo so may have what you need

No, I did not say that.
I don’t know.
I was just saying that they have a lower rate for older cars.
