Swiss regulation is a good thing for Swiss residents. Swiss regulated means registered with FINMA (the equivalent of the U.K. regulators). This firm are part of a self-regulating organisation for anti-money laundering, which seems to be overseen by FINMA. That doesn t mean that they are regulated as a financial services provider. I ve no idea if P2P lending is a regulated activity in the UK, but if it is, they would also need to be regulated there, even (especially?) as a cross-border service.
This doesn t pass any kind of sniff test for me:
15% returns
P2P
Advertising on FB
Cross-border
Shonky regulation statement
ETA I’ve worked in Swiss banking for nearly two decades
