I'm not a fan of the looks, and of course it doesn't have a V8, but there's no denying that EVs can have outrageous performance, and are certainly the future of performance cars.Anyone else on here have one?
What's it like to drive? My Polestar 4 is similarly stupidly quick and has fantastic cross-country pace (4wd), but is never able to disguise its size and weight. It's certainly no sportscar however fast it goes.
It's actually really nice to drive and in no way feels like a cheap Chinese car. Everything is very nice quality, the ride can be a little bouncy at the rear on bad roads but other than that it's a brilliant bit of kit. I also have a 2024 Mini Cooper SE, the Mini's infotainment / software is a bit better than the MG, but as said previously they both make the Jag feel really old.

Top tip indeed it can be a bit limited access to the centre screen, any advice on how to turn all the stupid stuff of in MG Pilot other than just turning it off?shunt said:

I don't find MG Pilot too nannying and the LCA resistance to change lanes with no indicator is not too high / easily overcome

What colour is it etc? Any pictures?
Can I be first to say: Not an MG, it’s a SAIC Cyberster GT.
I have an MG with a V8, however it’s not really a MG either in the traditional sense - not Abingdon built, etc. It’s a badge engineered Rover 75 with Ford Mustang engine, and as much an MG as the MG Metros and Montegos from the earlier generation of badge engineering yet they still seem genuine as MGs.
The thing that annoys me with the Chinese MGs isn’t the way they got the brand, nor the modernity of the cars themselves, it’s that they make no effort to use the history (other than when it suits them for marketing) and styling features of the old cars and just seem to use the badge to con people into thinking it’s a British car - as per the gentleman who wrote to the Telegraph Motoring Advice column asking what non Chinese car he could buy to replace his modern ‘British’ MG, the advisor had to gently point out that he already had a Chinese built car.
Why didn’t they use some of the design cues that make you think MG rather than an anodyne design that could have any badge slapped on it? An MG F/TF is as recognisable as an MG as is an MGB - how hard can it be?

I had a 2004 ZS, I too shed a tear seeing this legendary British brand sullied like this.
