Mercedes A250 replacement
Discussion
My current car is a 2022 A250 with 25k on the clock. It's the top spec so it's a nice place to sit, comfortable enough, decent power, room for golf clubs (with back seats down), excellent on tyres and running costs are fairly good (11k miles a year).
I don't really need to change but I always like to do so every 3 to 4 years just to have something new or different to enjoy/look forward to.
Any recommendations as to what could be a good replacement? Don't have any kids or pets but often have a couple of sets to golf clubs and other bits to fit in so 2 door coupes etc are probably out of the question. Budget would be £35-40k and ideally no more than 2 years old. I would say my top criteria are comfort, power and capable of being fun occasionally. A small sample of Cars I've considered so far:
330E
V60 T6 or T8 hybrid
Model 3 performance
Golf R (comfort?? Perhaps not)

If you fold the seats down in a 5 door why are coupes out of the question?
C43 coupe. Lovely. 4.0 C63 even more lovely. E53/63.
If you like Merc that is.
If you have to have a 5 door because of some golf clubs, as odd as that sounds seeing as you appear to be in the fortunate position of being, essentially, otherwise constraint free, then the world is your oyster.
For 330E I'd read i4.

If its a Golf R, and it will likely have the 19” wheels, then DCC is an absolute must. I have an 8.5 Clubsport with said wheels and DCC and its perfectly comfortable. Was in Europe recently and admittedly their motorways are better than ours, but was really smooth. Wife has an 8.5R with the above. Down to personal preference of course but I prefer the Clubsport as find it more fun (having had a Mk7 R) and its much rarer than an R too.
