When buying cars in the past I've always pretty much known what I wanted/needed - but this time I need some help!
Currently we need to replace my wife's 2012 Kia Rio 1.4d, had it for 12 years and it's been great. She uses it just for work & the odd run, c.6k p/a.
What it's replaced with will still be used for her work but also become out primary car, we'll probably be doing about 12k p/a.
Requirements:-
£10-£20kish max. Up to c.4 years old.
Live on a terraced street, so no access to EV charging. (Open to the idea of plug in hybrid as accross pavement charging may be a potential in the future?)
We've had 2 good but quite dull cars for years, so would like something a bit more fun, interesting etc. if it has some pace I'd appreciate it, but still needs to be reasonably economical.
Needs 5 doors & reasonable boot space. Something a bit higher off the ground is appealing but not essential.
A premium sound system would be the icing on the cake! Would prefer non leather seats.
With the above criteria we would literally consider anything, a d be very grateful for any suggestions!
