Qualifying was Saturday and the lone Vantage in British GT is on pole for both races on Bank Holiday Monday at Oulton Park.

On at 10:50 and 3:30 BST tomorrow.
If you're an Aston Martin fan and never seen GT3 before....all of British GT and all of the SRO series and NLS series are shown live for free on Youtube here;

One of many reasons to justify the Premium sub to avoid all the ads.

....Just need to get a tub if ice cream in for tomorrow

Hello Marc,
Thank you for posting. I was at Oulton Park a week ago. A lovely circuit for both drivers and spectators.

If you are happy to do so, would you like to use the Aston Martin Enthusiasts topic for motor racing posts?
Lots of AM racing content is already kept in place on there. You might be puzzled by the topic title, but there was a reason. We had a topic purely for AM Racing matters, but it kept being moved to the Motor Racing sub forum, which AM PHers probably rarely look at.

I expect you have watched videos, or even had a tour of the Prodrive facility at Banbury, where all the Vantage racing cars are built. Wonderful to see how it all starts with a standard Vantage 'tub', enabling us to dream slightly, when driving our own cars.

Was there a week ago with some of my fellow GT8 owners.
As you say an amazing place.
Beechdean had one of their cars there.
42 years young as a company.

Happy to post in the Enthusiasts section re; racing Jon.

However PH really does need to completely refresh its back end.
I tend to not look any further than the front page anywhere on this site.

Ive never actually owned an AM. But its currently top of my list as im looking for a GT or sports car. Already veered from 718 Spyder RS (some late bargains in Q4 2025, but all the good spec/colours have gone) to either a McLaren 600LT (but prices are jumping currently!) or a DBS SL.

I hit the big 6-0 tomorrow so im now edging toward a GT over sports car.

Did a few seasons racing in my 'youth' and Oulton is an amazing drivers track. Scared the bejeezus out of me in the wet though (or at least terrified of the size of the potential repair bills!)

Thank you Marc.

Happy Birthday. After having your Tuesday celebration, it will then be the perfect time to begin your search for a wonderful Aston Martin. My favourite is the Vantage. Perhaps surprisingly, it has a similar amount of room in the cabin as the DB9 and a larger boot capacity, but the ride is quite firm, so you might not consider that to be the perfect GT. Perhaps a DB9 or DBS might be tempting.
Many of the Vantages and DB9s are owned as additional cars and often infrequently used. Therefore 'as new' condition examples are seen for sale at remarkably low prices. Condition, as always is the important aspect.

This video should remind you of your days at Oulton Park.
Can a Hillman Imp overtake a V8 Ford Falcon ? Let's see.
Hold tight.
How beautifully James controls the slides.
