GMP Shoot driver in hard stop in Prestwich

It appears that the driver of a car containing two occupants has been shot by Armed Police who initiated a hard stop on a vehicle in Bury New Rd just south of the M60 motorway this afternoon

The driver allegedly tried to break out of the box of Police vehicles driving at officers

His condition is unknown at this time but the air ambulance was deployed to the scene
