Yes, my first thought was Triumph 2000 but they had different indicators and four doors.

My first guess was a Dolly Sprint, so I wasn't a million miles away.

Its an early 70's Toyota Celica. I think.

The stag didn't have lights in the lower front dam.

The lights in the front dam look like a retro fit to me, where as the downward curve on the edge of the front wings would be very much factory and completely different to the square edge of the Celica...

Fairly sure it is a Stag, there only appears to be a single door from the little that can be seen of the side, so I don't think it is a 2000.

Stag looks like a good match to me, you can even see the edge of the side repeater.

In the original photo there's a chrome bumper leaning against the wall behind the car, which ties up with the Stag I think. Toyota a decent guess though.

I would agree with the Stag. The Celica has recesses for the moulded bumper each side, the picture does not.

I think those 'lights' are actually the bumper mounting points on a Triumph Stag.... smile

Defo Stag with different indicators, maybe it was customised at some point.
