New electric enduro bike by a Dutch company called Radian. Like a Stark Varg EX but Radian has come at it from more an Enduro, longer ride angle. Of note is a tool-less changeable battery, onboard charger and some storage under the seat. It doesn't pump out the Vargs 80 horsepower but the 70 it does is still a heck of a lot.

Indeed these electric off-roaders are powerful, my old KTM 500 made 60 odd hp and was well powerful by any standards.

I'm not convinced by these 1000nm+ torque claims though, how are they measuring it?

I like the idea however, the reality is that beyond perhaps competition they have no real market, certainly for me (I am sure they will be dismayed at this).
For this usage for me to be better than what I have I need:
A range of more than 160 Km.
A comparable weight (in this case just over 100kg).
A charge time at a station of less than 10 mins at a comparable cost to petrol.

Electric bikes in general are a fine idea but nobody will want to hang around a grotty fuel station in the cold p***ing rain for an hr while it charges only to go another 80 miles or so.

I believe the torque is at the wheel, not the motor, so it's inflated by the gearing. Still, the torque is at zero "revs" and it's a lot. Here is a Stark Varg showing how silly-torquey it is:

Yes they're quite a niche product. Given my level of fitness I reckon the battery in one of those would well outlast me..... hehe

I think one of the biggest issues (apart from the range) is that every electric bike manufacturer seems to go bust within a couple of years, so there is a risk of no spares.
