Name may not mean much to people under 40 but he was one of the actors from Blake's 7.
In fact I read somewhere he was the cast member who was in all of the episodes.
Later years he was the vicar in Eastenders.
Not the first one to go from Blakes 7 but a sad reminder of getting old

Sad news, though sometimes his character annoyed me a little. Perhaps it was more how the other characters sometimes treated him than anything he specifically did.

I hadn't realised they've done some remastering and released at least one series on Bluray, but as most of my VHS copies of Blake's 7 were never unsealed, and I haven't watched many of the DVDs I replaced them with, I probably won't be splashing out.

The first 2 series have been remastered and are out on Blu Ray. I have seen some of my favourite episodes from them.
There are some really wonderful shots of the Liberator and the ones of it dropping down into orbit are excellent but they dont add to the basic stories if you understand me

Villa and Avon were great together.

Lets hope his lock picking skills enable him to escape his current predicament.

RIP Michael..
