There was a fatal crash on the M40 a few months back which resulted in a driver being arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and bailed until 12 May. It seems the driver has now been 'released under investigation'. Not charged apparently. Does this mean bailed uhntil a later date? Or the CPS haven't made their minds up but for some reason he isn't back on bail?

They will no longer have bail conditions. From memory its a three month bail period if they for it rather than RUI. Then you can get extensions.

Fatal enquires take a long time to investigate. I work as a PC on traffic and am a Family Liason Officer. A year plus is normal.

The investigation carries on as normal. There arent the time frames of three months etc (which will never happen).
