A week driving around the Peak Discovered looms and it looks like the sun gods have blessed me.

Would welcome any tips on the area as i have never visited. Have plotted my entry route and scanned Google Maps but nothing beats the PH hivemind…

So, must do routes? Top spots for eating? Scenic spots? Routes to avoid? Blah blah blah

Any input welcome smile

Winnats pass. Snake pass. Ashbourne to Buxton.

Roads:
B6049 Bradwell -> Tideswell, if you get a clear run.
Mortimer Road from A57/Snake Pass -> A616.
Rushup Edge -> Sparrow Pit -> A623 -> A6 circuit (again, if you get a clear run)
A53/Cat and Fiddle from Macc -> Buxton (although has had average speed cameras for some time)
A54 from Bosley Crossroads -> Cat and Fiddle -> Buxton
A5004 Long Hill from Buxton -> Whaley Bridge
B5470 from Macclesfield -> Whaley Bridge

Food:
The Yonderman Cafe on the A623
The Yorkshire Bridge Inn near Bamford
Ye Olde Nags Head in Castleton (their sausage and mash in a Yorkshire pudding is amazing

Scenic Spots:
Winnats Pass
Holme Moss Summit
Derwent/Ladybower Reservoirs (especially if you've played Forza Horizon 4)
