Wow that's pretty gopping... I guess slightly longer and in black it would make a good hearse.

Quick read up suggests it was never sold in RHD markets due to the driveshaft on 4WD versions needing the same space as the steering column would require.

Yeah, Mercedes GLK. They sold them over here in Germany for a few years (early to mid 2010s) but it never seemed that popular.

It's like a really bad Chinese ripoff of a Merc mumtruck.

I went to New York in 2019 and I remember these things being all over the place. Certainly got a 'wait what is that' the first time I saw one.

Not making it in RHD eliminates a massive Worldwide market.
They should have thought of that in the design stage.

These were based on the W204 C-Class (and their internal code name was X204)

Surprised Mercedes didn't make a little more effort to make it work for RHD given the popularity of that size of SUV in this country. Still, I suppose it was otherwise an opportunity to convince people to buy an ML instead!

I've also just found out that there was a plan to make a smart on this platform (C-Class/GLK) called the "ForMore". It looked as hideous as you would expect

I thought that was a Hyundai Terracan with a MB badge stuck on the front.
