As per the title anyone own/owned one of these?

Starting to look at something to replace the VW ID7 later this year, which has been a great family and dog load lugger. Seen a decent deal on these, don't need 7 seats so they'll be folded down the majority of the time. GT Premium Spec looks good, 300ish bhp AWD possibly slightly inferior EV to the ID7 in terms of range and charge speed but we do 99% of our charging at home.

Interested in any real world opinions.

no experience of the e5008, but I did drive an e2008 for four years and I really liked the i-cockpit low steering wheel set-up, would prefer it if all cars were like this tbh. It's frustrating how many reviews moan about this

I’ve got a hybrid one parked outside at the moment, I have driven the E-5008 and E-3008, both drive really well, could do with just a touch more power.

The 5008 I have is just an Allure, which is fine, but the GT does get better equipment (lack of ACC is an annoyance of mine, especially as the normal cruise is a bit crap)

Set up the I toggles to give you shortcuts for turning off some of the ADAS stuff and you’re away. Nice seating position, great seats. Steering wheel and gauges as above are in a spot on position.

Having a bit more customisation on the dash itself would be good but I mostly use CarPlay anyway and that works pretty well even on the relatively small screen (I also drive a BYD Sea U and the screen in that is ridiculously large)

I have a GT Premium coming next month. I opted for this car as I needed a 7 seater and compared to the alternatives price wise (via Tusker Sal Sac) it seems a lot of car for the monthly net payments.

I test drove one before ordering which was my first drive of an electric car and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it felt. Coming from a 66 plate Sportage it obviously felt very modern inside but the build quality was genuinely there and the driving position with the small steering wheel seems to work well. I also spent a lot of time ensuring the was enough room for passengers in all 3 rows and for our use (myself, partner and 4 girls between 16 and 9 years old) it works well.

Only time will tell if I still agree over time but there wasn't anything else that came close to space, quality and cost that was an available option.

I got an e5008 GT on a 2 year lease delivered (with 1 mile on the clock!) on the 15th April, which has replaced a Nissan Ariya that I also had on a 2 year lease. Its the 73kWh FWD version in Cumulus Grey and I've done about 750 miles in it so far.
I also drive with the rearmost 2 seats stowed most of the time.

> I thought I would miss the completely flat and open floor at the front of the Ariya - I don't.

> I thought I would miss the 360 degree cameras of the Ariya - I haven't really found it to be an inconvenience by just having a reversing camera and front parking sensors. The reversing camera of the e5008 is very crisp and the video feed on the screen can actually swivel when you turn the steering wheel.

> The sports seats of the GT are very supportive, but I find the thigh bolsters a bit too high for my liking.

> The adjustable (colour and brightness) ambient lighting across the dash and door cards make it feel super premium, whilst not being too chintzy like a Merc, for example. The mixture of the cloth material along the dash and central tunnel and the other materials/designs also makes it look and feel really premium. I think Peugeot interiors are absolutely brilliant nowadays.

> The view out of the rear window is pretty decent - it's quite a good size aperture. It didn't take me too long to adjust to the length of the car.

> The boot is absolutely huge with the rearmost 2 seats down and there's loads of space under the boot floor and indeed under the rearmost seat bases.

> The customisable iToggle shortcut switches are really useful and easy to set up. The physical climate controls along the central tunnel are great.

> I had a 3 day test drive about 5 years ago of the previous generation 5008 which also had the small steering wheel - it really wasn't comfortable to drive with that size steering wheel - this one is so much better and I personally have no issue with the top of the wheel blocking the view of the driver's display.

> Speaking of displays, they are very clear, responsive and highly configurable. You can set them up to display quite a lot of content/data and cycle through multiple configurable setups on both the infotainment and driver's displays. You can also have your satnav from Android Auto (not tested Apple CarPlay) in full screen on the driver's display if you want.

> My Ariya had an 87kWh usable battery, so its been quite a step down in terms of overall range compared to the e5008's 73kWh usable battery. I haven't had to rapid charge it yet, so can't comment on the charging speeds. I also haven't done a really long journey in it yet, but will be doing Manchester > London in a few weeks' time so will be able to test the motorway range properly.

> You can't trust the indicated range shown - it pretty much always shows 311 miles after a full charge and rapidly drops once you get going. Putting it into Eco mode adds about 15 miles to the indicated range from Normal. Putting it into Sport deducts about 15 miles from Normal.
I've been driving around in Eco to try and eek out as much range from the smaller battery, but shifting to Sport for a cheeky overtake pleasantly surprises you with just how quickly this thing can go!

Overall I'm extremely happy with the car and would highly recommend it to someone looking for a premium feeling EV with loads of space!
