There will be no interest from the first two, the latter will be interested nut it will cost you a huge amount.

The only interest from police would be if it was likely to jeopardise the investigation/prejudice a trial (and even then it would only likely be to the point of alerting the CPS to any disclosure issues etc)

Most social media companies won't lift a finger to actual Nazism so unless it's considerably worse than that don't get your hopes up

I think it's a civil matter so you'll have to pay a solicitor but no doubt they will be keen to assist and take your money.

You would be surprised.

After being scammed by a dodgy mechanic I did some research on their name and found that they were a convicted criminal found with a stolen Ferrari 550 barchetta in his garage in the not so distant past.

I mentioned this in a Google review. Google kept pulling the review, I edited it and reposted it, this happened for a few days and got a phone called from the police investigating possible defamation and harassment.

Fortunately the guy investigating quickly worked out that it was a load of hogwash, but I did find it somewhat amusing that the police do indeed act as moderators for social platforms now, even when posting truthful publicly available information.

Your post is hogwash. Police don't look at social media. How did they get your number?

You got called by the mechanic/associates pretending to be the police, to disrupt you from ruining their online presence and try and throw you off the scent.

Just read your post. So thanks for proving me right. You were the aggressor, which prompted the mechanic to allege harassment, who had your details to pass on to the police, who then called you. And as was always the case, it was cited as a civil matter which it is.

You said police interrogate and research google reviews rofl

They don't, never have, and never will. Kid yourself all you like.

Judging by how that thread went down, looks like you need education full stop.

Much love

In much the same way that Harry and Megan live at Frogmore Cottage and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is the Duke of York.

Wonderful another internet hard man that cannot admit that he is wrong.

You alleged that there would be no interest by the police or social media about potential defamation, when I pointed it out that it happened you then doubled down on that and called me a liar. You were wrong.
There are circumstances where they may show an interest. Whether or not you agree with those circumstances is irrelevant because at the end of the day we come back to the fact, You. Were. Wrong.

rofl

They followed up an a report of harassment, which is a crime, nothing to do with social media or reputation. Seeing as it was a load of old tut, it was the usual courtesy call followed by no further action. You seem to suggest police are engaged and scrolling through online material, nodding their heads and making notes. They aren't, they are just doing what they need to to close the case and put it in the bin, as online handbags are the bane of all reports made.

How did that whole scenario play out in the end then - in your favour?

Your previous thread speaks for itself so I am glad you posted it.
