30GB iPod: $299 - 31% thinner than current 20GB
60GB iPod: $399.
Available next week. Comes with case

- New iMac: $1299 for 17" model with 1.5GHz, $1799 for 20" model with 2.1GHz. Faster, larger disk, built in iSight. Includes FrontRow (app)

- Front Row - comes with new iMacs. Lets you enjoy video/music/pictures from sofa. Everything still displayed on iMac screen. iPod-like remote. 6 button remote.

- Photobooth - Slide show application.

- iTunes 6 to be released
Music Videos. 2000 available to buy. $1.99 each.
You can "gift" music to other people. Peer reviews and recommendation service.

Just change the $ to £ and that's what we'll be paying for 'em then!

Is it me or does music not sound right on iPods, even with expensive headphones. It sounds harsh, somehow.

Well, the 20" G5 imac is about a grand without the VAT, and I was going to place an order this week as I've been after one for a while.

Do we know when the new ones will ship to the UK?

Soon as they're here I'm gonna have one - unless the old stock in the Uk will be reduced that is!

Surprisingly enough, they are not ripping us off too badly: £219 for the 30GB version. Still a rip-off, but not as bad as £-$ parity.

US prices are usually plus 7% sales tax, uk is vat included..

Not quite worth going to the usa for just an ipod..
