Driving in the rain!

I took the Tiv to be serviced today - and it rained there and back.

Is it just me, or do others find driving a TVR in the wet thoroughly depressing;

Roof on.
Drive in tiptoes.
Car's getting dirty.
Etc..etc..

Not really... don't overly enjoy it, but you get used to it...

Then there's the watching over the Tiv when it's wet, and waiting until it dries, before shoving it back in the garage. I *HATE* putting a wet TVR in a garage..you can hear the chassis rust

I find the wet just as much fun as the dry. Only difference is the speeds involved.

I find the T350 easier to drive in the wet than my SEAC

Much less worry about tail out antics at every junction.

It would seem you got yours from Fernhurst's, correct? I recognise the church in your profile photo. I got mine from there too. It's always thoroughly depressing driving around that neck of the woods when it's raining....dunno why.

But I agree with your comments. At least when it clears up I will have a solid reason for washing her - right now my neighbours take the p@ss 'cos I'm always washing and waxing a pristine car!

I'll second that, I had a slightly sideways moment in torrential rain involving a hefty portion on opposite lock. Probably oil on the road....

Yep, I too love driving the Tam in the wet, I guess the charicteristics of the S6 allows for easier driving in these condidtions. I feel as safe driving my Tam as the 50bhp Clio in the wet!

Believe it or not, but I get my car valeted every time it gets dirty! Sad isn't it?

I should be OK, does my car go over 3000 revs? Haven't tried it over that yet!

Admittedly my right foot doesn't slap the floor as much in the wet, but I hardly call it driving on tiptoes. Perhaps it's my SO3s, but you can still have a lot of fun.

The glass is obviously half-empty. When I drive mine in the rain I think of the dust and grim that's being washed off.
