A little bit left field but I'm trying to remember & source an old toy for my brother's birthday. I don't have a picture but I remember what it was like wondering if anybody remembers it or even the name

- 80s or early 90s toy
- had a white plastic body with a black rubber style hood over the screen
- it had a helicopter style joy stick which you moved left to right & red button to fire
- it king of zapped and you'd have red lines on the screen as you shot

I can't remember the name or even the objective just remember what it looked like and the zapping style noise it made when you shot. Don't even remember what it was shooting against

Any help would be appreciated

Was it this sort of thing? There were quite a few around in the early to mid 80 s but I can t remember one properly matching your description.

That’s amazing - I had all of those xD Still have a couple of the Tomytronic 3D games somewhere - the shark one was my favourite.

My son did a project on vintage toys at school last year and took in my original 1981 Rubiks Cube and Caveman which all of my kids have played with extensively since xD
