With tv's getting enormous there are no good media units to place them on. Some might have the length but not the depth for an AV receiver etc. The last time I looked was 15 years ago and the only option was BDI but they are expensive. Can anyone recommend any good brands or website thats would be suitable for 75inch TV.

I bought an AVF unit 6 years ago which has been very solid and held together well.

They don't seem to have wide choice of units for TVs your size, but they do have a few.

I had the same problem - not to put the TV on, but somewhere from the amp and centre speaker. I had a carpenter make me one in the end. Just a simple open unit in very thick pine. Cost very little and looks fab.

Got my Bdi cabinet on eBay second hand. Only paid a couple of hundred quid. There's a few on there now.

It's not the TV's as such, it's the AV equipment. Tv's are thinner but the AV equipment is still as chunky as it always has been.

Mine is custom built - although I had drawn up a design and was going to get it built I found something custom built in the dimensions I wanted on gumtree (it was a few years ago). Solid wood, 3.4m wide, 36cm high, 56cm deep. TV sits at a comfortable height, deep enough to fit equipment. It sits nicely proportioned along the wall.

We have an alphason with 50 tv on it, I think ours is 1600mm long but they do a slightly longer one. A Denon av receiver sits in the cupboard but I did have to leave the back off if. The centre speaker sits nicely in the centre (monitor audio radius)

Why do you need a piece of furniture as wide as the TV? They all have VESA mounting holes so just get a stand, suitably sized of course:
