Posted this on Lambo talk too but most of those people are in the USA and don't seem to reply to us UK punters smile

Anyway, this is my dilemma:
My 2016 Spyder - 16,500 miles.
10 year service due very soon, i have booked this in with a reputable indie, cheaper than main dealers.
having oil, brake fluid, filters, coolant etc. PLUS I~ will be doing the gearbox oil at the same time, so all in all a thorough service.

I'm considering having the ECU and gearbox remapped at the same time but a reliable and well regarded company, cost is reasonable too.
Spoke with my insurers and they wont uplift my yearly premium, so Im all good there.

Only doubt I have is will this affect resale value, I would intend to tell the next buyer that it has been done, as i know these things are detectable, even if you revert to original map prior to sale.

Any opinions on this welcome.

Personally I wouldn't touch a tune unless it was warrantied but that's my approach to risk.

To me these cars aren't pocket change.

However if you have two cars exactly the same, and one is tuned, I think most would go for the untuned car.

As above - it is different in the US but over here tunes are regarded as a bit "Barry" and risky.

If someone is finding the LP610 lacking in power you begin to wonder how it has been treated.

Not sure how much more power you can get out of a NA engine thats already at 610bhp? For the I expect relatively limited gains I am not sure if it would be worth the trouble.
