Apologies if it has already been mentioned, but I couldn't find anything on here, anyway I stumbled across it last night and enjoyed the episode I watched.

Dom often appeared on the Repair Shop but it seems he has escaped to the country in Cornwall.

In the episode I saw he teamed up with Sam Lovegrove who used to be Henry Cole's partner in crime on Shed and Buried and they bought a cheap MX5 to turn into a drift car!

The MX5 is about the third episode I think.

We recently watched them all on U and quite enjoyed them. Sam is in all the (5?) episodes.

Must be me and my wife but we found it all a bit "airy fairy"
Stuff like the outfall from the swimming pool and the tractor on the beach.
I like Dom and remember Sam from the early HC series where worked magic on older bikes and had a genuine interest and great knowledge.
Expected this series to be so much more engaging than it is.Watched 3 episodes and gave up.

I enjoy it, just two talented guys genuinely enjoying life... with no staged drama or pratting around.
It makes a nice change... Vehicles, property & a few oddballs for good measure.

That's what I like about it.

I'd have probably discovered it sooner if only "U" channels were still available on FreeSat!

For those (like me) who are largely clueless at such repair tasks it's entertaining and informative, i.e. just what TV should be. Maybe I'm easily pleased but it's a decent enough spin-off from The Repair Shop.

Just what's needed to further inequality for the locals.

Seems a decent bloke, but really just another rich media person coming to Cornwall to make lifestyle TV wink

Christ on a bike you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Careful you don’t hurt yourself getting off that soapbox.

Very comfy on the soapbox thanks.

Let's see how he gets on with his projects and how he contributes to the local culture etc.

Yes let’s see. Why does he need to contribute to the local culture whatever that is? Maybe he could become a tin miner, make pasties or quite possibly spend his money locally heaven forbid.

Yeah just like Gorden Ramsey and the rest haha.

By culture I mean adding something rather than taking.
Sure I sound grumpy but my family have gradually been pushed out due to house prices from media darlings and London investors.

Not a personal dig towards Dom. As said he appears OK on camera.
