Car transportation.

Hi all, Just wanted to know if anyone could recommend a "car transporter company" and maybe a guestimate of cost to move a cerb from London to Cornwall.

I'm trying to work out if it would be cheaper than petrol and time cost of going up to collect it with my girlfriend in her car, or maybe flying up from Newquay.

Any thoughts?

I would have thought that buying a car like that, would mean you'd want to drive it at every opportunity.

No offence meant here, but if your worried about time spent & the cost of fuel, have you really got the right car ?

edited to add, having just read your thread properly, I think your on about spending time in the girlfreind's car , in that case, fly there, unless she drive's something nice that is

More of a time thing really, got a few weekends tied up (by others) and it's not allways easy to get time off. self employed you see, i think best option is to fly up though.

I assume your talking about the car going onto a trailer ?
Iv'e just had two quotes for a similar journey - North London to Plymouth, one was £195 and the other £300.
