Where is good for T's? Price/quality/designs - where's good r.n.

[I know/I'm fairly sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find it and times change man, maybe there's new places to patronise]

I find Uniqlo's cotton t-shirt to be great value for their money.

Uniqlo is decent.

M&S is my go-to, it's great stuff for a pretty reasonable price.

They size a little big, but I like that.

I struggle trying to find quality t-shirts. I might try TM Lewins next, they have a sale on https://tmlewin.co.uk/collections/mens-t-shirt-sal... so might get a couple to see what they are like.

My son likes Fatface T shirts for dress as they're good quality and last and cheap £8 for 2 at Tesco for work.

I got some of these when they were 5 for £50. Good fit and seem decent quality so far.

Cotton Traders were good but they appear to have changed factory/supplier and they are not as good as they used to be.

I've been buying Fruit of the Loom Super Premium from Amazon recently for around £7/8. I WFH so these are my work 'uniform' now.

UniQlo used to be good but not bought any from them for a while.

Folk make excellent quality T-shirts, and I like Crew Clothing ones too.

You can't go too far wrong with anything from some of the usual, as well as more niche designers:

Ralph Lauren
Hugo Boss
Diesel
Dsquared
Karl Lagerfeld
Dom Rebel
Cavalli
Sergio Georgini
Kermit Clein

yep, not bothered by the fancy ‘supima’ or whatever they call it, but the heavy weight cotton crew neck t-shirts are great quality for the price

H&M also have some decent heavy weight t-shirts,(usually relaxed or loose fit) but generally need to check them in store, because other t-shirts are really thin/ crap quality!

In the last 10-15 years I have only ever bought synthetic shirts as they require zero ironing & dry super quick.

They are also used for work.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004NQ2MN0 - these are a staple

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07T96S466 - though these have got more expensive, have more of a sporty stretchy feel, prefer to the above. . .

Anyone found such a thing as a cotton T that can be hung to dry on a hanger & requires zero ironing?

I don't do "labels" for fashion whatsoever smile

M and S Autograph mens pure supima T shirts are very very good quality just for a plain black, white grey etc. You can get slim, normal oversized fits etc.

Very good.

For me it's a question of fit, aswell as quality

Ralph Lauren for example, is expensive but the quality doesn't really justify it and their sizing is very American - if you're a Large in any other brand, you need to take a Medium with RL and you need to know what fit you're getting (Classic/Slim/etc)

Hugo Boss - very hit and miss in terms of what you get. Some material is very thin and suitable for summer, others are thicker and the fit can vary wildly within the same brand. This means going to a store and trying it on. Which means (usually) paying a higher price than online and Boss are notoriously over-priced for what you get anyway.

I like their stuff, but their black T's become grey after about two washes.

I can understand not doing labels for sure but wearing what is basically a football shirt permanently because you cant be arsed to do basic ironing?

I have never really found anywhere that is that great for T-shirts because they all fall out of shape after a while now that the trend is to side stitch them for cost purposes. I have a couple of T-shirts from next and just throw them away every year. If you want good quality stuff you need a loopwheel t-shirt not just a designer name stuck on something probably made in the same sweatshop as the cheap ones.
