François Bourgeois aka Luke Nicolson.
Can't stand him, and it's a real shame he's been given the job on new Grand Tour.
That said, Bo'ness is a wonderful heritage railway, and has a great steam engine collection at the Scottish Museum of Railways if anyone is ever up there.

I love a Class 37 but I agree with you, that Francois is beyond annoying to listen to and look at, really can't stand him, and they put him with another very irritating man as well, shame as my love of a Class 37 isn't enough to watch those two drivel on.Can't stand him, and it's a real shame he's been given the job on new Grand Tour.

Have you seen the chasing a train film? Can't stand him, and it's a real shame he's been given the job on new Grand Tour.

Couldn't agree more. The fake personality works for standing on a platform frothing at passing trains, but for the Grand Tour it will get annoying very quickly. Not sure about this as it sits somewhere in the middle, will reluctantly give it a go at some point. Can't stand him, and it's a real shame he's been given the job on new Grand Tour.

It was a slow burn for the first half hour... but warming up nicely.
It makes a nice change FB & CH come from two different cultures.
FB seems quite up on his cars & he has an Engineering Degree.
(Train Nerds v Car Nerds).
Funny how CH said he would have got a kick in the nuts if he got a fact wrong.
FB & co will just politely educate him.

Well I enjoyed it so far.
Starting the thread did wonder if we'd get the equivalent of the Top Gear crew who regularly checked in each week to grumble, pick fault out of the latest episode and abuse the presenters.

As long as it remains entertaining & doesn't get farcical.Starting the thread did wonder if we'd get the equivalent of the Top Gear crew who regularly checked in each week to grumble, pick fault out of the latest episode and abuse the presenters.

(HC & Shaw etc).
