So following on from the arseholes that set a dog on a cat, we have more arseholes that have hanged a puppy from a tree.

Bring back corpral punishment. Had enough of the dickheads in this country that see this as fun and know they can get away with it.

Surely capital punishment would be more appropriate if slightly ironic...

Oh my god words fail me! I just cannot comprehend what goes through these sick assholes minds when they do something like this. Utter cowardice. How can anyone find any pleasure in torturing and killing a defenseless animal? It doesn't make me sad or angry, just stunned.

Sorry to say its been going on for decades, the only way to beat it or at least try to combat animal cruelty is more policing in communities.
Very sad

I prefer animals to humans.

These people deserve to die horribly. Preferably tied to the back of my truck.

This is the bit that got me.

The RSPCA also found two more nooses near the tree, close to an empty cider bottle and the remains of a bonfire.

So it seems like they were waiting for other animals. Plus how the hell did they get a dalmation..? aren't they pedigree dogs..?

Surely someone must have noticed their dog had gone missing..?

Don't believe the world is an evil place simply because a few sick s are genuinely evil.

The world is a neutral place - we make of it what we will. And when it comes to humankind for every vile er there are many, many times that number of good decent people.

There was a good piece on TV about animal cruelty here a few weeks ago in which a psychologist said that often if these things are not tackled early often develop violence towards people. I hope they are brought to see the error of their ways no matter how harsh the punishment has to be.

“Interviews with more than 100 US serial killers showed that most had a history of some form of animal abuse in their childhoods. Other researchers say they have found a link between animal abuse and later risk of domestic violence.” - www.upliftprogram.com/h_social_02.html#h20

There was a lad where we used to live (Ryan) who was a trouble maker, only about 7 or 8 years old but already a little sh1te!

He stole from other kids, stole parts off my car, stole cash from a neigbours house etc ....but one day he also decides to hang my next door neighbours cat from some iron railings.

The little b@stard!

Our old house was on a small new development and cost over 1/4 of a million £'s as did most other houses around us and we believed that we wouldn't get that kind of neighbour but this kid had state sponging parents who were able to afford a nice new house!

Yes true, the only problem is it only takes one ,i get a lot of squirrels around my close that come into my garden to forage for nuts and titbits and i can stand and watch them for ages from a distance.

I was thinking of putting out some sort of feeding place for them and perhaps try to tame them but my only reserve is if i tame them to approach people it might be their downfall, sorry to say these types of cruelty have many repercussions.

It's only when you live abroad that you realise that the UK is becoming such a sad place to live in.

I live in Vienna, Austria and the first few times I went clubbing, I was taken aback by the fact that there were no fights, or people vomiting up in the streets and more notibly, no police swarms!

In fact, I counted 4 policemen sat in their Smart Police cars having a chat!!!

I couldn't help thinking it was odd.....but what is odd, is me thinking fighting louts are the norm to see when you exit a nightclub.

I've said it again and again and this time it's set in stone. I never plan to return to the UK unless things begin to improve and chav culture becomes a thing of the past, however I think we're stuck with the scum for many years to come.

Killing and torturing animals is a common theme amongst developing psychopaths. Most serial killers liked to do similar when they were young. The person / people that did this are probably exhibiting major personality disorders already, which will continue to get worse as they get older.

Thats because in the UK we harbour a third world type(maybe thats the wrong expression to use but you know what i mean)culture and do nothing about it.

Ime not a Lefty by any chance but a lot of the responses on here are lets hit violence with violence,,,,we got to break the mould and get right in there amongst this chav society with no decent role models and re-educate otherwise this will be an on going thing and we will keep wasting money on the gate thats shut after the horse has bolted.

I stand to get flamed here but this is a product of a selfish society and we are all to blame in one way or another, examples need to be set and some parts af our society needs to be seriously worked on,we could learn a lot from the japanese and nordic countries.

Exactly right ZR1Cliff - I have said similar in the past and been accused of being to liberal. I am not, I believe in strong punishment (even corporal punishment) but unless we actually tackle the root causes of our social problems - poor parenting, lack of education, inneffective legal system, poverty, politcal correctness, uncontrolled immigration, and a benefits system that discourages personal responsibility and a work ethic, we are screwed and will continue to be screwed.

The thing I finf amazing is just how quickly our society has degenerated. Personally I hold Margaret Thatcher's 80's view of "No such thing as society...." as being the point at which things went badly wrong in terms of our notion of colelctive responsibility....but that's another debate.
