TVR Merchandise/Clothing

Anyone know where I can get an original TVR coat from? With winter drawing in, I'd like/need a nice coat. I used to have one years ago which was warm and ideal for the rain. I've contacted the factory and they have advised me that they no longer make them.

Any suggestions?

Yep. Don't do it! IMO, Logo'd clothing is somehow, the height of naffness - it either says "I have no dress sense" or "I don't have a TVR, but would like you to think I do"...even though you do have one, which makes it a little better.

But if PetrolTed could come up with a nice PH jacket or sweatshirt for the winter, I'd bite his arms off...somehow PH stuff, being non-manufacturer specific, is not naff?!!

Thanks - I think I've found one now anyway. Although if I win it, with your advice in mind, I think I may let the mrs wear it instead (better she wears my coat than drives my car)!!!!

HL Gorners in Wigan had a few merchandise rails with shirt and jumpers and that type of stuff there. It was surprisingly good quality and I was slightly tempted. You might be more tempted though!

What do you reckon - to be honest I think it looks great (and sounds like an official TVR jacket. However, although it's in the 'corporate colours', and says unisex - I reckon it's one for the Mrs.

Like I said earlier, better she wears the coat than drives my car!

Does anyone know - was/is this a genuine article? Ever seen any before?

Looks genuine to me, there often use to be people wearing these at Tuscan race meetings. For £20-£30 quid I'd say go for it. If you like it, don't worry about what other's think. Incidentally I have a couple TVR polo shirts that I wear in the summer when I'm out in the Griff, what's naff about that? Rich...
