Propshaft for a 1988 350i

Does anyone know if the 350i propshaft is from another car or if it is a bespoke to the 350i part?

Mine has worn splines and a dent in it and needs a rebuild which isn't cheap!

It'll probably be a modified SD1 part; try finding an ex-SD1 prop and see if you can swap the front section to yours?
Must have had some hammer to wear those splines, mind.

I have found a nice little propshaft specialist in Bristol who is going to build me a completely brand new propshaft for £350 which seems very reasonable. Lets hope is sorts out my vibration issue!!!!!
