650s seats - anyone willing to let me sit in one?
Discussion
Hi all, I am in the market for a 650s and have the issue of being very tall. I have sat in a spider with electric seats and just about fit, but worry about longer distance use. I can buy p1 seats or non electric standard ones but won’t know if they work until fitted.
Would any kind soul with a 650s with either non-electric standard seats or p1 buckets be willing to let me sit in their car?
Based near Reading / Basingstoke / farnborough but obviously happy to travel and give any personal details anyone would want to get comfortable with having a stranger turn up to sit in your car!
Is anyone able and willing to help?

You could go to any dealer with one in stock and I'm sure they would let you try the seat. I'm 6'4 and have no issue with standard electric/heated seats but in a Spider not Coupe.
You're absolutely right @cgt. I think the nearest dealer with non-electric seats is Thorney which is doable but requires some management of family, work etc and isn't possible given my diary until mid-March (assuming they're open on Saturdays). It strikes me (perhaps foolishly) as easier to appeal to Thames Valley / Wilts / Oxon / Hants 650s owners to see if anyone can help in the meantime.
I'm asking for help in the hope of avoiding taking a day off work / day off family duties to plonk my bum in a car, say "yes" (hopefully) or "no" (...) and then leave the generous donor with a bottle of wine for their trouble! Failing this pathetic appeal, I'll arrange a trip North

You're in my area - but since I have a spider with standard electric seats, you've already tried it. I don't know how many cars there are that don't have those - a minority I expect?
Very kind but as you note, I've sat in one and it's possible for me to fit - I worry I'll discover 50 miles into my first trip that it's not sustainable.I see you're local to me (commute from Fleet) so I will look out for you!
