Road trip ideas Belgium to France
Discussion
I am going to Ypres in May for the Lotus day. Would really like to continue the trip onwards afterwards. Have done Germany plenty of times now and would like to try some new routes.
I know the general consensus is that there isn’t much in the way of good driving roads in the north if France, but I’m probably not going to have enough time to travel to the usual well known spots in the south.
So, any suggestions of things I could do to create a round trip from Belgium, maybe into Luxembourg and France. Thinking good roads, automotive museums and the like, ww1/ww2 museums or sites. Wouldn’t mind visiting Oradour-sur-Glane, so anything I could do in between?

I like https://www.leblockhaus.com/en
and

Neither are too far from Calais.
I also like to pay my respects at the German military cemetery at Langemark, Belgium

There are 44,000 in there, but it's pretty small.
The largest Allied cemetery is at Tyne Cot only a few miles away, but has 12,000 in there
and it's much bigger.
All four are worth dragging youngsters to.
