Your NissanConnect EV app to be discontinued from 30th March 2026

Dear Customer,

We are writing to inform you that the NissanConnect EV app currently linked to your vehicle [NUMBER] will cease operation from 30th March 2026.

This will affect Nissan LEAF vehicles produced until 2019 and eNV200 vehicles produced until 2022.

The discontinuation of the NissanConnect EV app is related to the legacy architecture of the current platform. The current platform cannot be upgraded to support future enhancements or align with our ongoing development plans.

As a result, you will not be able to use your NissanConnect Services remotely through the NissanConnect EV app as well as certain map-related features will no longer be accessible in affected vehicles from 30th March 2026.

We want to reassure you that the key features such as the Climate Control Timer and Charging Timer are accessible directly from your car’s Navigation Infotainment System. For further guidance on how to use on-board features, refer to the Nissan Drivers Guide app and your Owner Manual.

Nissan remains committed to delivering the next generation of connectivity solutions to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of both current and future customers.

Thank you for being a Nissan owner and for your support.

Best regards,
Nissan

Er, my car is a 2023 Leaf, so in the first sentence it's saying it'll be switched off, and in the second it's saying it won't be. Which is it? Idiots.
