Purchasing from Europe - Anyone in Northern France..?!

Hi all

Right, so latest project involves buying some new parts from a main dealer in deepest Germany (not available here). However, they will not post outside of Europe!

So, not knowing anyone in northern France or somewhere close to pick up (they are bulky), I guess there wouldn't be somewhere they could post to for me to collect (they have no contacts themselves). Like a PO Box...?

However, I assume the dealer might want the postal address to be the same as the payment address......

Any thoughts appreciated (or anyone living in Northern France?!!!!).

The UK is still in Europe!

Can you not send a courier to collect the parts yourself?

Another spanner in the works - they will now only post within Germany, so collection would be the only option. 10 hour trip each way. Just doesn’t stack up financially. Real shame to know they are just sat there unlikely to be purchased!

I live in Northern France, on the border with Germany and am driving back to the UK mid-March if I can help at all?

Hi, that's amazing, thank you.

However, annoyingly they have now said they only post within Germany! Very strange for a VAG main dealer!

It's a 10 hour drive each way, as deep in Germany!

They are bulky! boxed will fill the back of a car with the seats down...

I think I'll need to give up hope....

If they are bulky and big boxes you would be looking at huge shipping costs anyway, I would get a cheap crossing and road trip for them
