Other half is getting a Hyundai Inster in a few weeks.
It's got wired Carplay, so looking for a USB adaptor to use Carplay wirelessly for Waze etc.

Loads on Amazon, ranging in price from less than £20 to more than £80.

Any recommendations for a device that works reliably with an iPhone sitting on the wireless charging pad?

I got one from Amazon for about £25 and it’s great. The only issue is if you want to stream video (naughty naughty) then you have to disconnect the CarPlay and switch to mirroring.

It’s not a big deal but I think that’s the only way to do it.

Not necessarily the cheapest and takes a few days to ship from China, but Ottocast Mini or Mini Nova are superb

Looks like Amazon have last year’s Ottocast Mini model on sale, the Aura looks smaller and neater
