A couple of weeks ago an email went round the office - anyone interested in a car pooling arrangement. The sender was a girl, so first concern was obviously, is she hot. A quick chat with a few of the guys suggested it was probably a cute young lady who we had seen about. So, a few emails later and we find out our working hours are different so it cant be done.

Then today she tells me her working hours have changed, want to give the car pooling a try? so I say yep, pop over at lunchtime so you know who to look for. Ohhh dear. She appears and a quick glance reveals three things.

1. Its not the cute girl we thought it was
2. Shes simply not going to fit in my car
3. Even if she could, that side of the car would be on the ground.

I need a way out of this situation... I couldnt exactly say 'youre too lardy to fit in my car'....

Opinions?

p.s. incitement to road rage... I ended up being an 8 year old base model corsa with a personalised numberplate and stickers in the rear window 'get off my ass' and 'go on pass me then small dick'... I really wanted to just batter the driver.

Since when is an 8 year old base model Corsa a nice car? :P

Having said that it would be a huge improvement on my current shed....

Ummm... Lie, Run away, Quit, wear a neck brace tomorrow-you've been in a crash and will never drive again, then always park on the other side af the building? You gotta break it too her before she breaks your car.

dont wash for a week. that'll do it.

or

get a smoking habit and use the car as an ashtray for a few days. that'll put her off.

Drive like an absolute loon. Scare the crap out of her so she never wants to go near your car again.

I did this once. Worked a treat.

My cars turn tomorrow....

I think excessive throttle use should do it. She was complaining about the door trims being loose in her car, and it having rust.

My car has a door trim that will not attach, with a speaker hanging loose out of it. The rear wheelarches are rusting nicely, it smells of petrol, its loud and its low.

I hope thatll do it

This won't work - if she's as huge as you imply then she will probably stink to high heaven anyway and you will never get the smell out of your seats

Tell her you are an alcoholic, or better yet - don't tell her, just have big swigs of apple juice out of a whiskey bottle. She'll soon leave you alone.

... or do the car-share as agreed with the lady in question, and talk to her, and see what interests her.

There is more to women than just the pretty ones. And there is also more to life than just judging people by their appearance.

Try it - you may be surprised.

There's always one who spoils a perfectly decent comedy thread with a sensible suggestion

Make a move on her. You’ll either:

Get a slap in the face and she will never want to travel with you again.

or

She’ll be extra appreciative.

Everyone’s a winner.
