Has this car been noise tested at any circuits? What dB reading does the Akrapovic system produce, and have you experienced any issues with noise limits at track days?

Hi - only done one track day - at Brands Hatch so dont have much data for you unfortunately. Car has a soft limiter so static test was fine and I didn't ask for reading. The driveby there is pretty strict - 92db if I recall and I had no issues.

Yes I will upload. The neighbour reversed into it leaving their drive at slow speed but as it’s aluminium it’s very soft and I didn’t want it repaired as it wouldn’t be the same. Admiral replaced it with genuine Toyota parts. I can’t tell in person at all.

Hi. I don’t have tools to measure but nothing came up at the recent service a few weeks ago on the discs but they look in good shape.

Hi, I notice the door has been replaced, does this show as a Categories claim on the cars history?

Hi. I don’t know what will come up on a car check. I mentioned this only to be transparent - it’s not noticeable as you can see in the pictures. Insurance was a no fault claim and they sorted it with genuine parts at a top class repair facility etc.

Replacing a door would not be sufficient for the car to be classified as Category S (structural write off). In a similar manner, the cost of replacing a door would not be high enough, on a vehicle of that value, to be categorised as Caregory N (economic write off). The exception to the latter would be unavailability of parts resulting in excessive hire car costs.

What does your carfax say? Any mention of the door? I assume that Admiral would have made sure it was noted?

We don t have Carfax in Britain. However, there are many ways of checking the vehicle history, but I am not aware of any that would detail anything minor as a new door. Others may disagree but it wouldn t put me off in the slightest.

I’ve run a car check online and I see nothing. It’s my understanding that minor damage that isn’t structural isn’t recorded centrally other than by the insurer.

Dear Seller. May i ask if the original manufacturer parts will be included with the sale? For example the exhaust, intercooler, oil cooler, suspension etc? Kevin.

Could you please confirm that the brake discs are in good condition, with no scoring etc.
Many thanks

Just an update, I've been told that a Cervertical report will show more information than a standard car check (like a Carfax) and it does indeed show damage reported as I described : November 2025 to the exterior body panels only with a damage estimate of £1500-3000.

Hi - nothing obvious to me - nor to Abbey Toyota in the service it had a few miles ago. Wear is commensurate with age and mileage I would say. Will upload a few photos on my phone

Not for me but looks a tidy little car.

Just for note, many years ago my neighbour reversed into my Evo 6. Similar damage to a rear door. Also Admiral insurance. Lets just say I was delighted with the results. Neighbour remained very sheepish for years till we moved house. No hard feelings.

Good luck with the sale.
