These keep popping up on my socials, and I quite like the look of them as a knock about, but returns are to Hong Kong, so not too keen to take a punt.

They are part of dartmouth group so same brand as Spinnaker, Duxot and a few others.

Basically reasonable enough for the money just make sure you dont pay anywhere close to RRP

The watches are okay, but as said never pay RRP.

Quality wise I don't think they're as good as AVI-8 or Spinnaker, they're more on level with sister brand Duxot, with both using mineral glass where on a Spinnaker you'd get sapphire.

After owning about 10, I've concluded that lume is sub par on all Dartmouth brands.

I've only owned one Cadola though, and had to send it back for a QC issue (see if you can spot it!) Was actually quite nice though, not bad for £100. Wouldn't mind another as a work watch.

On the brighter side though, all Dartmouth brands are fun, use interesting designs and represent good value for money when sold around the £200 mark or less. This is a great site to often get a realistic price, and it's worth checking Amazon or their own sites when a sale is on too.

Indeed! I didn't actually notice it for maybe a week. Granted I only wore it once in that time. It sounds snobbish but I'd sort of moved on from a lot of the entry level brands by this point, do my heart wasn't really in the purchase anyway.

My point still stands though, they're a fine watch for around £150.

There are microbrands out there doing more for less though, take Revelot for example, or Monro Adventure. That's the kind of place my money would be going.

Personally i think Cadola, Spinnaker etc ar kind of in a funny price point now.

Plenty of aliexpress brands like pagani, tandorio, steeldive etc for sub £100 offering very good watches with better spec and quality than the likes of cadola with woeful QC control.
