Tyre Pressure Warnings - Looks Wrong
Discussion
I have a 2024 440 MSport so model G22 (I think).
I keep getting tyre pressure warnings and the car’s systems seem to be wrong. I’ve inflated all 4 tyres to the recommended pressure. I’ve checked the accuracy using 3 separate compressors but I’m still showing the readings as below. Is this something I can correct or do I need to book the car into BMW?
Any help appreciated.

As others have said; into iDrive, reset tyre pressures and then drive the car, it'll go from 0 to 100% whilst you're driving and that should be it doneI keep getting tyre pressure warnings and the car s systems seem to be wrong. FWIW I use this when I check tyre pressures on both my E39 and our F31: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-69924-Pressure-Gau...
It's hell of a lot more accurate compared to my Ryobi cordless tyre inflator; and my RING tyre inflator
When I look at the tyre pressures on the F31s iDrive they're all different; even though the Draper tyre pressure gauge says that the fronts are the same, and the rears are the same etc

Assuming it works like an F30/1.FWIW I use this when I check tyre pressures on both my E39 and our F31: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-69924-Pressure-Gau...

I find my F30 starts off with one side different to the other (which side depends on whether the sun is shining or it's cold) but after 20 miles the on screen pressures show both sides the same. Also the screen shows thaat WARMED setting as the same as the COLD tyre gauge setting from a hand gauge. My old Halfords digital hand gauge reads the same as my new TireTek analogue hand gauge.
Whilst I know that most manufacturers these days give & expect tyre pressure to be in Bar it is frequently not accurate enough for the actual systems.
1 bar + 14.5 PSI, convert into PSI & set all correct to the desired pressure it will frequently help with "mis-reporting" of alarms, although I do see that this may not be your issue.
The reason this frequently helps is as follows.
Most digital gauges only go to 1 decimal place.
0.1 bar is 1.5 psi
0.1 psi is 0.007 bar
After setting the system needs to be reset & driven to accept the new settings as others have said.

OK so I took the car out for a few miles and did the reset on the cars app. Still showing under pressure and the recommended has reduced from 2.5 to 2.4 bar.
I ll increase the pressures when I get home and try again.

Get a pressure gauge first and see what the actual pressures are, rather than relying on the TPMS etcI ll increase the pressures when I get home and try again.
Then see how you get on manually adjusting them

Can recommend these, I have tested it against other gauges and it reads the same. It is also one of the easiest and most comfortable to use. Then see how you get on manually adjusting them

Recommended pressures change owing to various conditions - tyre temperature / speed / weight being carried etcI ll increase the pressures when I get home and try again.
TPMS is not infallible on my G30 one of the sensors always read 2psi below what the actual pressure was

UPDATE.
Inflated all 4 tyres to 2.5 and did the reset. Everything seems ok now though the car s system is saying the pressure should be 2.4 which is close enough .
Thanks for the help guys.
As in my earlier post, I find that when the tyres get up to temperature the screen TPMS shows the SAME as a COLD hand gauge setting. Ultimately, when close to the specified pressure, I adjust for ride comfort and feel.Inflated all 4 tyres to 2.5 and did the reset. I use a hand gauge and always set the tire option in the menu to "other tires," since I run warm settings of 2.4-2.5 bar on the road for better grip and handling.
