What an odd and fairly sinister thing to be spending their time doing.
Any claim to the moral high ground for this crew is surely shot through, and only 18 months in power.

Lowe posted yesterday that labour activists tried to screw up a party fundraiser he held last week by buying up all the tickets so nobody would be there. His team spotted what was going on so just allocated additional tickets to add to the ones labour had been buying up, and thanked them for their financial support. The event was a success.

Labour are getting desperate.

Seems fair. After all, journalists are being paid for the same against Labour.

I suspect your eyes are slowly being opened to how much of this works.

And you'll be able to see the Labour activist account assigned to PH has already commented on this thread and has been doing the same in many others threads over the long term...

If true I hope they aren't paying much. Sounds like another procurement scandal. hehe

I don’t see any mention of Labour activists. How do we even know if there is any truth in that statement at all?

What makes you think it doesn't already (and always has) worked both ways but perhaps people had been less incompetent to not get found out...... scratchchin

Journalists are professionals.

I realise it's the Winter Olympics but Labour are starting on a slippery slope...

It feels somewhat ironic that today Stewie is disgusted at this, but yesterday was arguing how the likely story for the Ukrainian boys was as the article was written about them being Russian assets...

The headline, as normal, doesn’t seem to represent the facts. From what I can put together it seems the think tank paid a US PR feel to investigate a journalist for any dirt they could find.

It seems very much like they wanted to intimidate a journalist, which is not right, but also not what is being claimed in the Times headline.

Happy to be corrected if someone has more information from behind a paywall.
