Cancelling online purchase of used car before collection
Discussion
Hello,
I'd appreciate a bit of advice/confirmation about cancelling the purchase of a used car.
The deal was agreed online/over the phone, i.e. I haven't visited the dealership or seen the car (so, a distance sale). I'm due to collect the car this weekend.
No deposit was requested or paid but the dealer has removed the advert and I've digitally signed the order form.
There's no finance involved: the car I'm trading in is worth more than the one I'm buying.
From what I've read online, I believe I can cancel the whole thing without repercussions (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013?) but I'd like confirmation before I contact the dealer.
Thanks in advance.

I did the same with an approved used BMW last year and got my £1000 deposit back as well.
This was a distance sale and had not viewed the car prior to the planned pick up day which didn't happen.
Just told them I had changed my mind and that was it, no issues from their end.

I was expecting to have to pay a deposit but the salesman never asked for one.
