Alexa smart dimmer switch for LED lights
Discussion
Mum has two ceiling fittings in her lounge, each with 6 small LED lamps.
Visited yesterday, and she had bought new lamps because a couple had failed. She bought two 10 packs of cool white, and I swapped them over for her.
She prefers the cool white colour, but they are way too bright for TV watching in the evening, so I want to fit a dimmer switch for her.
She likes switches with big buttons (not a rotary knob or small toggle), and already uses Alexa for the TV and a couple of Govee side lamps.
My house is all done with smart bulbs and Shelly switches, I don't have any physical dimmers.
What's the best smart dimmer switch with a physical override that isn't a rotary knob or small toggle?
She'd like to be able to use Alexa voice commands such as "lights on/off" and "lights 20%", as well as touching the switch.
Apartment was built 8 years ago, so it might have a neutral behind the switch - I've not looked yet.
Needs to be 100% reliable once set up, as she's 88 and not at all "techie".
