D1 drifting

Well I went to Silverstone on the 2nd Oct to watch the D1 drifting team from Japan.
I must have been the only TVR driver there. Loads of Jap tuned cars there but it got me thinking, why doesn't it attract other marques?

I'm planning on giving it a go (not in my Cerb) after xmas. Maybe as a xmas present to myself :D

I don't know .. you'd have thought some cerbie owners would have wanted to have a go?

I sold my 325 beemer the other week to a drift fan .. he gave me a dvd of him in my old car .. i laughed almost till i cried at what he was doing with it! I drove it so sedately i got 36mpg average on the trip computer .. more like 3.6mpg on the dvd now!

Strangely enough there was a car that I did'nt recognise outside my house a few hours ago with D1 Drifting written all over it.

Anyone know what it is?
