Love this 2010 Evora na. Delectable feel and balance, 280 bhp quick enough. Manual car with close ratio gearbox and sports pack. Sounds ace. Understressed, musical engine, relatively simple mechanics. So much more versatile, in terms of it's overall capabilities, than the hard-core Elise/Exige, with real GT ability in respect of luggage capacity and refinement. Truly a wonderful little car, that sits well with my McLaren 12C

They are lovely. The S1 is the best looking in my opinion.

I'm currently on my way down an Evora rabbit hole on YouTube biggrin I'd love to daily one.

Really love it. Had been away from proper sports cars for a while, and had more exotic stuff years ago, Lotus and otherwise. I really do think the Evora na ticks so many boxes. A truly lovely little car. The more powerful and exotic versions are also wonderful, of course, but at their price range compete with cars at a different level . Life is a balance, and for me the na gets it right. Double the budget, the relevant Evora probably still does, but competition getting tougher...For me, often raved about comparative cars such as the A110 Alpine and (immeasurably) pretty Alfa 4C full down at their price level due to 4 cylinder motors..

Yeah I'm looking at these as a competitor for a bottom end market A110. Both great cars by all accounts. The Evora appears virtually depreciation proof over the last 10yrs or so.

Meridan,

What wheels are you running, those look like non standard 19s & 20s?

My 280hp SR has OEM 19s & 20s, but I have S1 OEM 18s & 19s as winter wheels and tyres and it drives so much nicer on the smaller wheels - steering, ride, handling

18/19 forged alloys. Part of the 2010 period sports pack (I think !) 225/40 18 f and 255 35 19 r.

Brilliant, unshowy, sportscar...

Good - so you get the fab handling that won PCOTY.

Don't ever be tempted by bigger wheels - they look great but they do remove that last 5% of sublime genius

Thanks TVRBRZ,

No, I wouldn't change them for the reasons given, but also I think proportionately they look right on this car, and the tyres are cheaper too...

280bhp is absolutely plenty on todays roads. One thing I enjoyed about mine (with the longer box) was you could rev it out and not have to worry about hitting warp speed in 2 seconds. The longer box also meant it was brilliant for distance driving - closer box was better for the B-roads though.

Worth looking at upgrading the linkage if it's not been done already, the gearchange is probably the cars only real weakness.

Cheers Matty,

It has got a very good history and clearly well loved..

Gear change is excellent and only enhances the overall dynamics. It's a brilliant thing

I have had many more powerful, perhaps exotic cars, but it's overall balance of attributes, as a sports car, takes a lot of beating, certainly at a certain price level. They are just beautifully engineered

A little gem
