BT mail started playing silly buggers

For two years it has been a joy to use. I am secretary to a club and have to send our regular bulletins. some tro members only, some to members and affiliated clubs.so i got a contact list for several 'sub divisions'.. no problem
No it has decided to play up with every email on my system when i try to send

EG my email address is on the concted list. and when i type in ron in the send part is shows my name in a box x and underneath the email. clicking on name used to send the mail..Now i get this

<ron> Invalid mail address, must have a domain part

And have to type in the email in full.....which is a bit of a bind doing it for 58 different people!!

Any idea why it has decided to do this?

Are you sure you are correctly signed into your BT mail account?

well i use my email address and havent changed the pw Just type btmail in the search and thats it!

Are you using BT webmail, in a browser. Or are you using an email app, like Outlook or Apple mail?

Is the sending email address a domain name email address?
