I may be sent to the UK for most of the summer. If my company doesn't let me just use the rental-car fund to buy a Peugeot 106 or Citroen Saxo, how close can I get to that experience in car that may be available for rental and what should I ask for?

Hmm. 1.0 might be fun, carrying speed everywhere to avoid falling flat on its face...

Twin Air is apparently a hoot to drive but I am not sure if that engine is in the model/age range that rental companies would likely have.

Terrible driving position in a 500 v’s a 106. Thinking what else is current, small and light, might there be a Suzuki Swift, Citroen C3 or Hyundai i10 model which fits the bill?
